WELCOME TO STRIVE 2.0

A development network initiative STRIVE encourages kids from marginalized backgrounds to participate in sports and learn positive life skills. It was founded in 2018 by Raisah Ila Panda. Over the years, STRIVE has received a lot of support and recognition from Delhi's marginalised children, particularly from Ambedkar Basti and program partners Slum Soccer, The Angels Network and Dance Out of Poverty.

In its fifth year, the realm is now furthered by Raemana Rashna Panda, a sports enthusiast and social responsibility aspirant. An avid soccer player herself who has captained her school’s U-17 football team, played at the Delhi state championship level and a member of a football club.

Raemana is known for her adroitness, conscientious planning, and soft qualities. She personifies as a young girl determined to leave significant footprints with time. She has great interpersonal skills and takes an interest in socially inclusive projects that can heighten community participation. She aspires to spearhead the humble beginning of her elder sister and do things differently at STRIVE 2.0.

Like with all changes at the helm, this CEO (community enthusiastic officer) also added her own creative twist. Strive 2.0 encouraged children with special abilities to join for making the group bigger and stronger. Every child is born with an inherent talent summing up to a diversified team. The persuasive effort reflects Raemana’s endeavour of social-inclusiveness through ‘sports for all’ and has brimmed a ray of hope for these children who now feel recognised and involved. She furthered up with an inspiring initiative Project Vrddhi, a capacity-building program to raise the spirit of Basti Women into learning something resourceful, be self-reliant and take strides towards micro enterprise.
